GTA: Chinatown Wars Has Sex

Published by Chris under News

From cinemablend.com:

gtachinatown GTA: Chinatown Wars Has Sex As noted in Blend Games’ preview of GTA: Chinatown Wars , the upcoming GTA game for the DS is staying true to the series’ roots. Even though the DS is generally known for its family-friendly content, Chinatown Wars will have its share of sexual content

Here’s an excerpt from the ESRB’s summary of the game: " The game also contains sexual references (e.g., discussions of multiple partners, homosexual activity, prostitution, pornography, etc.) and brief instances of sexual activity. Although sexual acts are not graphically depicted, there are sequences in which cars rock back and forth while female moaning is heard."

GTA4: Lost And Damned Brings The Male Nudity

Published by Chris under Movie

From 1up.com (via joystiq.com):

Ever see the episode of Seinfeld where Elaine tells Jerry that nude is “not a good look for a man?” Apparently Mr. Stubbs of Grand Theft Auto 4: The Lost and Damned didn’t get the memo.

If you’re brave enough, have a click above and watch as Mr. Stubbs talks business with a member of the Lost and Damned following a full body massage. The camera angles are reasonably tasteful until the 3:09 mark, but let’s just say that you’re on your own after that. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.

From livemint.com:

sexgames Games and sex rose to mainstream prominence last year when a bunch of intrepid hackers found hidden sexual content in popular title Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas , causing a storm of controversy and outrage from legislators—including then US senator Hillary Clinton—and parent groups.
But now, a new movement, driven by smaller independent studios and digital distribution, is attempting to take a broader, more inclusive view of sexuality. Uncut GTAIV PC coming to Australia

Published by Chris under News, game

From gamespot.com:

gta Rockstar Games is no stranger to Australia’s strict video game classification regime. Even before the company’s highly anticipated title Grand Theft Auto IV hit shelves worldwide in April this year, rumours of edits to the Australian Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions began to circulate. Rockstar confirmed the rumours, saying that they had made voluntary content cuts that were “not significant” to the overall product in order to satisfy the guidelines enforced by the local ratings body–the Australian Office of Film and Literature Classification (OFLC)–which is now called the Classification Board.

This week will see the Australian launch of Grand Theft Auto IV for PC, and in a statement, Rockstar today confirmed to GameSpot AU that unlike the console versions currently on sale, the Australian PC retail release of GTAIV will be sold completely uncensored.

“Grand Theft Auto IV PC has been rated MA15+ strong violence, sex scenes, coarse language, and drug references by the Australian Classification Office. The PC game is unedited in any way and identical in content to the international version,” a local Rockstar rep said.

“Ryan Chinnery, 19, found his victims as he prowled an area around his home in Ashford, Kent, in his car late at night, high on cannabis and alcohol, Maidstone Crown Court heard.

He enjoyed playing the controversial game, in which players steal cars and kill prostitutes, for “hours on end” before he went to sleep at night and had an “unhealthy interest” in pornography, the court was told.

In July of last year he grabbed one woman who was walking home and asked her for sex, before pulling her down a bank into a river, his trial last month heard.

A few weeks later he set on a woman in her 40s in similar circumstances, grabbing her by the throat, the court was told.

He pulled her down a hill, breaking her arm and leaving her powerless as he sexually assaulted her.

The court was told that police found a copy of Grand Theft Auto in a search of his home.”
